Easter comes early this year and that means Easter egg hunts and trips to visit the Easter bunny are here already! Hop into the Easter spirit with many fun Easter activities right here in Pittsburgh. The Easter bunny will be at some of your favorite locations, bringing lots of colorful eggs with fun prizes for children of all ages!
Eggstravaganza at the National Aviary
The National Aviary on the Northside will definitely get your children excited about Easter. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. your kids will have the opportunity to participate in a bird-themed Easter egg hunt, an Easter parade with the Easter bunny, story time with a bird and much more. Going on March 19-20 and March 25-27, you won’t want to miss out on this Easter event!
Easter egg hunt cool enough for teenagers
Your teens will harness their inner child searching for these Easter eggs at the Pine Community Center in Wexford. Instead of candy, your kids will find coupons, gift cards and more fun prizes! Bring your pre-teens and teenagers ages 10 to 15 on March 25 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to have a fun active night away from their electronic devices.
Ukrainian Easter Egg Workshop
Take this opportunity for your children to have fun while learning about a new and exciting culture! At this event your children will learn all about the unique and beautiful art of the Ukrainian Pysanka (Easter egg) and will even get the opportunity to design their own traditional Ukrainian Easter egg at the SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Carnegie on March 12 at noon.
Easter in the park
Kick off your Easter celebrations with games, prizes refreshments and pictures with the Easter Bunny from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on March 19 at the Rotary Shelter in Clever Park in Robinson Township. This event will be tons of fun for your kids and easy on your wallet.
