Consider a Career That Makes a Difference in People’s Lives…
In an on-going struggling economy, Gillece Services is still growing strong – thriving by servicing existing and new customers, and progressing by interviewing and considering new job applicants. At Gillece, you’re not applying for simply just a “job.” You have the potential of a life-long career in which to meaningfully serve families and their homes in the Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electrical industry.
Gillece Services is a Pittsburgh-based company whose foundation is built on trust and motivation. Since 1980, Gillece Services has been providing Pittsburgh with quality Plumbing, Heating, Cooling and Electrical services. Tom Gillece started Gillece Plumbing when he was only 20-years old. Years of servicing customers with Plumbing and Heating issues caused Tom to understand that building relationships was at the core of running a successful service business. For Gillece Services, that means relationships with customers, relationships with employees, relationships with others in the industry, and relationships with the community.
As a Gillece Technician, your trade work makes a difference in people’s lives. We don’t see our customers on the best day of their lives, we generally see them on one of the worst days of their lives – when they need immediate help and one of their largest financial investments is at risk – their home. Our customers reach out to us in their time of need, anxious for a quick remedy to a household problem that is usually unexpected and always unwanted. A Gillece Technician’s arrival at their home and quick work done right the first time is a welcome relief to home owners and their families – now, that’s a difference that people will remember.
Gillece offers initial and ongoing training and skill-certification programs in our spacious, in-house training facility. We are second to none in the Pittsburgh market in terms of invested resources made available in order to produce the best local trade workers in a wide range of specializations. Individuals from a variety of backgrounds, with varying levels of ability and specialization work on real-life problems on many different major appliance brands under the supervision of the best service people in the industry and are extensively trained in customer service.
Weekly training classes, both one-on-one and group, are designed for all Gillece Technicians, and cross-training is also offered. A mentoring program is available to all new Technicians or those wishing to expand their skills set. For example, a Service Plumber could gain experience in Heating & Cooling (HVAC) and so forth. The interactive style of classes promotes real-time learning, and Technicians leave with the ability to actually perform the topic that was presented.
