Pittsburgh Boo Zoo
The Pittsburgh Zoo will be hosting their annual Boo Zoo the weekend of October 22-23 and October 29-30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bring the kids dressed in their Halloween costumes to enjoy a day filled with animals, treats, a costume contest and a child friendly spooky house!
Carnegie Science Center 21+ nights
Experience the Carnegie science center this fall without a bunch of rambunctious children running about. You can actively participate in the hands on exhibits and enjoy a cash bar! For all you Rocky Horror Picture Show fans, October 14 will be Rocky themed. The cost is $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
Kennywood Phantom Fright Nights
Are you looking for a night filled with roller coasters and terror? Every Friday and Saturday starting September 20 through October 29 will include 10 different haunted attractions that will keep you looking over your shoulder at every twist and turn around the park.
From a collection of civil rights in comics and cartoons to live improv comedy shows, explore the galleries of Pittsburgh’s Cultural District for free! On September 23 from 5:30 to 10, get in touch with your creative side and see what the many galleries and theatres right here in Pittsburgh have to offer.
